Every credential has a public verification page at /verify/[id]. Anyone can open it without signing in — that is the point. It is how an employer confirms a credential is genuine.
How verification works
The verification page does not just look the credential up and trust the record. It recomputes the credential's cryptographic signature from the underlying facts and checks that the recomputed signature matches the one stored on the credential. If anything about the credential were altered, the signatures would not match and verification would fail.
What this gives an employer
A passing verification means the credential was issued by this platform, has not been tampered with, and corresponds to a real learner who cleared the frozen assessment for that course. Share the verification link directly — there is nothing to install and no account to create to check it.
