Cookie and Consent Notice

This notice documents the current LMS behavior and the required consent gate before adding non-essential cookies. It is not legal advice.

• Clerk session cookies: essential, HttpOnly session cookies used for production sign-in.
• ndg_session: legacy dev-only cookie retained for the local fallback auth path.
• ndg_lang: functional language preference cookie used to switch LMS chrome between English and Arabic.

The current LMS does not load a marketing analytics tag or advertising pixel. Learning progress is recorded by server-side product functionality needed to provide the course and credential experience.

Before enabling marketing analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or any non-essential tracker, add an explicit opt-in gate that blocks those scripts until consent is granted, preserves service access when declined, records consent version and timestamp, and offers a simple way to withdraw consent.
